How It All Began ...

It all began in the mid 60's when the late Mr. P.K Loh started Loh & Loh General Contractor, a small but efficiently run sole proprietorship. It officially established itself as a 'Class A' licensed contractor with the Public Works Department in 1965 and history was created when the company completed its first maiden project with Bandar Raya Development Sdn Bhd. The company was later incorporated as a private limited company in 1974 under its present name of Loh & Loh Constructions Sdn Bhd ("LLCSB").

Loh & Loh Constructions Sdn Bhd, the construction flagship of the Group has since then progressed significantly and had emerged as a major player in the country's civil engineering construction scene, particularly in water works and earthworks. Loh & Loh has developed a niche in the construction of dams which requires considerable technical expertise, unsurpassed experience with equipment and working in rough terrain and strict supervision at all stages of construction.

Loh & Loh Corporation Berhad is principally an investment holding company and the principal activities of its subsidiary and associated companies are in civil & structural engineering, mechanical & electrical engineering, building and other related construction works.

The Loh & Loh Corporation Berhad Group is led by a board of experienced and committed directors and run by experienced, skilled, competent, and dedicated staff who are trained to solve complex engineering situations. The strength of LLCB Group lies in its experience, construction technology and knowhow, cost efficiency, commitment to quality, association with foreign contractors and timely completion of projects.

On 2nd July 2001, LLCB acquired 100% equity in Water Engineering Technology Sdn Bhd ("WET"). WET is synergistic to the operations of the LLCB Group, as WET is primarily involved in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering focussing on water, wastewater and environmental sectors.

The LLCB Group is now able to provide a wider comprehensive and complete range of services to its' clients

LLCSB & WET are registered with Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor as a "Class A" contractor and with the Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia under Grade 7, which allows LLCSB & WET to tender for projects and undertake any construction projects of unlimited size and value from all government and statutory bodies throughout Malaysia.

Meeting International Quality Standards ...

Loh & Loh is the first construction company in Malaysia to be certified by Construction Quality Assurance Ltd., United Kingdom as having achieved ISO 9002 standards for its project management on building and civil construction works in 1997. This recognition certainly confirmed Loh & Loh's competency with other established British and European companies in the same industry. In the same year, Loh & Loh was accredited with the MS ISO 9002 by SIRIM for provision of building and civil engineering construction services. Both certifications have been endorsed to this day. WET was also accredited with the ISO 9001:2000 by SIRIM in 2003.

Progressive Growth ...

On 7 March, 1997 Loh & Loh Corporation Berhad was listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
On 17 October, 2000 Loh & Loh Corporation Berhad was transferred to the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.
