Contents	:	Pursuant to paragraph 3.1 of Practice Note 11 and paragraph 8.23 of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Main Market Listing Requirements, on behalf of LLCB, we wish to announce the financial assistance provided by the LLCB Group during the quarter ended 31 March 2010 as set out in the table below. The financial assistance is necessary to facilitate the ordinary course of business of the LLCB Group. The provision of the financial assistance did not have any material effect on the earnings and net tangible assets of LLCB and the LLCB Group, and did not have any effect on the share capital of LLCB. None of the Directors, or major shareholders of LLCB or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the provision of the financial assistance. The Board of Directors is of the opinion that the provision of the financial assistance is fair and reasonable and is in the best interest of the LLCB Group and not to the detriment of LLCB and its shareholders. This announcement is dated 17 May 2010.
