WET is a wholly owned subsidiary of Loh & Loh Corporation Berhad. WET is registered as a Class A Contractor with the Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor (PKK), a Grade 7 Contractor with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Grade D licence with Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembentungan (JPP). All these certification allows WET to bid for contracts of any size without any restrictions.

Over the years, WET have actively participated in the development of the nation's water infrastructures. WET is involved in many of the large water infrastructure development in Malaysia as well as abroad such as the Sg. Selangor Water Supply Scheme, Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 in Selangor, Port Moresby Water Supply Scheme in Papua New Guinea, Sg. Terip Water Supply Scheme in Negeri Sembilan and Sg. Muar Water Transfer Scheme in Melaka and many others.
